From the beginning, outreach has been at the heart of New Hope's mission. We reach out as individuals and as a congregation in our community and other parts of the world. Below are a few of the projects we support financially and by hands-on work:
- Steadfast House - preparing and serving dinner for the women and children (5th Sunday)
- MANNA Food Bank - hel;ping pack and sort food donations (2nd Thursday)
- Safe Haven - preparing and delivering a meal for mentally challenged residents of A-Hope (1st Wednesday)
- Habitat for Humanity - building homes; volunteering at the Habitat Store
- Loving Foods Resources - distributing food to terminally ill men and women
- Room in the Inn - providing shelter for homeless women 2 weeks each year
- "Cents-ability" Hunger Program
- Mission trips (locally, nationally and internationally)
- Presbyterian Church (USA) special offerings
- CROP Walk - raising funds for hunger relief
- Christmas Caring Tree and Alternative Gifts
- LINUS Project - making blankets for children in need
- Disaster relief in WNC, the Gulf coast and other hurricane-affected areas
- Presbyterian Home for Children
- Foot Care Clinic at ABCCM Men's Shelter
- Supporting missionary in Guatemala
- Partnering with a village in Guatemala
